Sau thất bại mất mặt trước Bilbao với tỷ số 0-1 ở vòng ra quân La Liga, nhà ĐKVĐ Barcelona đã lấy lại được uy danh khi vùi dập Real Betis với tỷ số 5-2 ở lượt trận thứ 2 khi trở về sân nhà Nou Camp. Đó là trận đấu mà HLV Ernesto Valverde không chỉ giúp Barca tìm lại niềm vui chiến thắng mà còn tìm ra hướng giải quyết cho cuộc khủng hoảng hàng công. 

Ông đã đặt niềm tin vào Antoine Griezmann ở vị trí mũi nhọn, đóng vai trò đầu tàu đội bóng trong bối cảnh cả Luis Suarez, Ousmane Dembele lẫn Lionel Messi đều vắng mặt vì chấn thương. Ngoài ra, Valverde cũng rất mạnh dạn đặt niềm tin vào 2 cầu thủ bị nghi ngờ khá nhiều là Rafinha và Carles Perez cho 2 vị trí còn lại trên hàng tiền đạo. Kết quả là Griezmann đã kịp tỏa sáng đúng lúc với một cú đúp bàn thắng, trong khi đó Rafinha và Perez cũng đã chơi rất hay.

Chính nhờ đã tìm ra được lời giải cho cuộc khủng hoảng hàng công mà Barca rất tự tin vào một chiến thắng trong chuyến làm khách của Osasuna vào đêm nay. Lionel Messi vẫn sẽ tiếp tục vắng mặt. Chấn thương bắp chân mà anh gặp phải ở ngay giai đoạn tiền mùa giải nghiêm trọng hơn người ta tưởng. 

Nhiều khả năng ngôi sao người Argentina sẽ chỉ kịp tái xuất ở trận gặp Valencia vào ngày 15/9, tức khi La Liga trở lại sau đoạn lịch thi đấu quốc tế của FIFA. Ngoài Messi, Barca còn mất tiếp cả Luis Suarez lẫn Ousmane Dembele vì chấn thương. Có nghĩa rằng, HLV Valverde vẫn sẽ đặt niềm tin vào Griezmann, Perez hay Rafinha.
